Wraysbury Lake offers all the features of an Inland Dive Site that you should require. The lake it's self has plenty of features that allow the visiting diver to either go exploring, relaxing quiet dive, group based diving, and more importantly training.
6 Training platforms have been provided for teaching purposes, being 4m x 4m square minimum up to the large dance floor platform on the west side of the lake. These platforms are located at a depth of 6m, being about 1m of the lake bed which is at 7m.
Entry and Exits have been made available all along the southern side of the lake, primarily 3 points of entry and exit. The larger Entry and Exit are the steps behind the club house which offer walk in and walk out entry's and exits. The middle jetty (Pontoon) is currently for Entry only, but a new development of a walk in and walk out bank is in the middle of being constructed (Finished by the end of April 2003) along with a 2nd jetty to match the over jetty on alternate sides of the walk in and walk out area. The far jetty (near the site entrance) is a scaffold construction allowing entry and exit via a ladder on the east side of the jetty.
Various items such as Buses, boats, vans, US & UK taxi's, traffic lights, Thorpe Park figures and even a slot machine!! can all be found in the lake. Aquatic life includes large Mirror and Common Carp, Pike, perch and Tench.
